Harmos Horton Lusk advises on Autodesk’s acquisition of Moxion

Harmos Horton Lusk advised NASDAQ-listed Autodesk, Inc. on its acquisition of Moxion, the New Zealand-based developer of a cloud-based digital dailies platform used by leading filmmakers on productions including “The Midnight Sky”, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and “The Matrix Resurrections”. 

Working with Autodesk’s US advisers Morrison & Foerster LLP, Harmos Horton Lusk provided and coordinated New Zealand legal advice on the transaction including assisting with due diligence and advising on transaction documentation. The firm worked alongside New Zealand specialist legal adviser Hudson Gavin Martin who advised on intellectual property and information technology matters. The Harmos Horton Lusk team that advised on the transaction was led by director Tim Mitchelson and senior associate Emma Barnett.
