The full list of finalists for the 2019 New Zealand Law Awards has been revealed, with Harmos Horton Lusk receiving award nominations for deals and for firm of the year.

Harmos Horton Lusk has been recognised for its involvement in the following transactions:

  • Finaccess Capital’s 75% partial takeover offer of Restaurant Brands New Zealand: nominated for International Deal of the Year.  Our team, which advised Restaurant Brands, was led by Nathanael Starrenburg.
  • Sale of Stevenson’s construction materials business to Fulton Hogan: nominated for M&A Deal of the Year.  Our team, which advised Fulton Hogan, was led by Tim Mitchelson.
  • HgCapital’s acquisition of a majority stake in Orion Health’s Rhapsody business: nominated for Consumer, Media and Tech Deal of the Year. Our team, which advised Orion Health’s majority shareholder, was led by Andrew Harmos.

The firm also received a nomination for Mid-size Law Firm of the Year.

The 2019 nominations continue the firm’s successes at the New Zealand Law Awards, with Harmos Horton Lusk being a finalist for ‘Deal of the Year’ awards in each of the last seven years.
