Harmos Horton Lusk advised Channel Infrastructure NZ Limited on its $50 million equity capital raise by way of a fully underwritten pro rata accelerated renounceable entitlement offer. The proceeds of the capital raise will provide funding for three new growth contracts secured by Channel Infrastructure in 2024.

Channel Infrastructure is New Zealand’s largest fuel import terminal, storing and distributing 40% of New Zealand’s transport fuel, including 80% of New Zealand’s jet fuel. Channel Infrastructure receives, stores, tests and distributes petrol, diesel and jet fuel that its customers import and supply to Auckland and Northland.

The Harmos Horton Lusk team that advised on the transaction was led by director Nathanael Starrenburg and included director Tim Mitchelson, associate Robbie Selbie, and law clerk Sam Baker.
