We are New Zealand’s standout corporate lawyers. Our reputation, particularly in time critical, highly complex and challenging matters, is a testament to our clients and to the exceptional capabilities of our team.
Our commitment to, reputation for and track record in finding innovative solutions to difficult issues is unparalleled in the New Zealand market. We do not believe that size equates to higher levels of expertise, skill or responsiveness. Flexibility, rather than bureaucracy, fosters agile thinkers.
Our standards are unapologetically high, because of our absolute commitment to our clients’ success. We enjoy a reputation for responsiveness, keen commercial insight and a willingness to innovate. Simply put, our lawyers “find ways to do things others say you can’t” (Asia Pacific Legal 500 2016).
Harmos Horton Lusk is a high-intensity environment where complex deals and tight timeframes are the norm, and yet our people thrive – why?
The key to our success is the mettle of the people who choose to work here. They are achievers, they want to be more than black-letter lawyers and they strive to go above and beyond for our clients. They want to be tested and recognised for being remarkable.
We offer a uniquely flat structure with an open sharing of knowledge and the ability for lawyers of all levels to be directly and intimately involved in transactions. If you make it onto our team it’s because you’re good – very good.
We also believe that a culture of support is an absolute necessity in an environment where great things are expected and consistently achieved by a small team. We are a genuinely collegial environment – a family that extends beyond our team, and encompasses their families as well. Our culture is a significant factor in our success.
