Harmos Horton Lusk has received excellence awards, and been named as a finalist, in this year’s New Zealand Law Awards. The New Zealand Law Awards celebrate excellence within the legal profession, recognising outstanding achievements advising on the country’s largest and most complex deals, commitment to delivering excellent client service, and leading legal expertise.
The firm’s award categories are as follows:
- M&A Deal of the Year: The Sixth Street and BGH Capital shareholder consortium’s NZ$1.6 billion acquisition of Pushpay by scheme of arrangement. Our team, which advised Pushpay, was led by directors Nathanael Starrenburg and Annie Steel and included associates Jason Maddox and Anthony Ellis.
- M&A Deal of the Year: QIC’s acquisition of 50% of Vector Metering from Vector, which valued Vector Metering at NZ$2.5 billion. Our team, which advised Vector on joint venture and governance arrangements, was led by directors Andrew Harmos and Tim Mitchelson and included associate Robbie Selbie.
- Mid-Size Law Firm of the Year.
The overall category winners will be announced at the New Zealand Law Awards on 28 November 2024.
