Harmos Horton Lusk advised long-time client NZX/ASX listed Pushpay Holdings Limited on the acquisition of all of the interests in Church Community Builder, LLC, a leading Church Management Software platform based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. The US$87.5 million acquisition was completed on 13 December 2019. The combined operation will deliver a fully integrated church management software system, custom community application and giving solution for customers in the United States faith sector.
The firm advised Pushpay and its associated interests and entities on all New Zealand law aspects of the transaction, including initial commercial negotiations, structuring of the transaction in New Zealand and the United States, New Zealand law aspects of the acquisition transaction, arranging financing and obtaining regulatory relief from NZX.
