Harmos Horton Lusk’s position as New Zealand’s premier specialist corporate law firm has been confirmed by recently released international rankings publications.
Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2019, released in January 2019, awarded Harmos Horton Lusk a “Tier 1” ranking for Mergers and Acquisitions, noting the firm’s “dedication to excellence, perceptive thinking, reliability and timeliness”. Three Directors also received individual rankings as “Leading Individuals” for Mergers and Acquisitions, with Greg Horton recognised as a “class act” and Nathanael Starrenburg described as “creative and commercial”.
Chambers Asia Pacific 2019, released in December 2018, highly ranked the firm in the Corporate/Commercial category, describing Harmos Horton Lusk as “a high-quality specialist M&A firm with a dedicated team of seasoned practitioners … noted for its diversity of experience and ability to handle complex transactions”. Three Directors also received individual recognition, including two “Band 1” rankings.
IFLR1000 2019, released in November 2018, ranked the firm for both M&A and Capital Markets. In addition, three of Harmos Horton Lusk’s Directors received individual rankings as “highly regarded” or “market leader”. Those who are highly regarded "possess a strong transactional record and positive client feedback," while market leaders are "true leaders in their field… recognised as standout performers in their country."
AsiaLaw Profiles 2019, released in October 2019, ranked the firm in five categories, including “Outstanding” for Corporate and M&A and “Recommended” for Capital Markets and Private Equity. In addition, four of Harmos Horton Lusk’s Directors received “Leading Lawyer” rankings for Corporate and M&A.
