Harmos Horton Lusk advised UK-based Access Group on its AU$100 million acquisition of the Accountants Practice Management Group from ASX-listed Reckon Limited. The transaction completed in early August 2022.
The Accountants Practice Management Group provides accounting practice management, client accounting, tax compliance and related software to customers in Australia and New Zealand. The acquisition adds to the Access Group’s offering to its customers, including now accounting firms, in the Asia-Pacific region.
Harmos Horton Lusk advised the Access Group on New Zealand legal matters throughout the acquisition process. The Harmos Horton Lusk team that advised on the transaction was led by director Annie Steel and included associate Anthony Ellis.
