Harmos Horton Lusk has been shortlisted for five excellence awards at the New Zealand Law Awards 2022, including three nominations for M&A Deal of the Year.

Powering Australian Renewables’ and Mercury NZ’s NZ$3.05 billion acquisition of Tilt Renewables is shortlisted for M&A Deal of the Year. Our team, which advised Powering Australian Renewables on this transaction, was led by Andrew Harmos and Nathanael Starrenburg.

Unity Software’s US$1.625 billion acquisition of Weta FX’s digital assets is shortlisted for M&A Deal of the Year. Our team, which advised Unity software on this transaction, was led by Annie Steel, Tim Mitchelson and Emma Barnett.

The NZ$1.7 billion merger of 2degress with the Orcon Group is shortlisted for M&A Deal of the Year. Our team, which advised TSX-listed Trilogy International Partners (a selling shareholder), on this transaction, was led by Annie Steel and Andrew Harmos.

Indevin Group’s acquisition of Villa Maria Estate from FFWL (in receivership) is shortlisted for Insolvency and Restructuring Deal of the Year. Our team, which advised Villa Maria Estate and FFWL (in receivership), on this transaction, was led by Andrew Harmos and Emma Barnett.

In addition, Harmos Horton Lusk has again been shortlisted for Mid-Size Law Firm of the Year.
