Robbie specialises in corporate law, with a particular focus on private mergers and acquisitions, private equity and significant joint ventures. Robbie joined Harmos Horton Lusk in 2022 from a firm specialising in venture capital and high-growth companies. 

Recent transaction experience

  • Advised UK-based Access Group on its acquisition of New Zealand based software company STAAH Holdings Limited
  • Advised NZX-listed Vector on the joint venture arrangements for its $1.7 billion sale of 50% of Vector Metering to investment vehicles managed and advised by QIC Private Capital
  • Advised NZX-listed Rakon on its response to a proposed $400 million takeover by scheme of arrangement
  • Advised The Power Company Limited on its $80 million acquisition of joint venture interests in Lakeland Network Limited, the OtagoNet Joint Venture and PowerNet Limited not already held by it
  • Advised the Roaring Forties Energy Limited Partnership on its $105.8 million sale of its 50% interest in Southern Generation Limited Partnership to Pioneer Energy
  • Advised NZX-listed Green Cross Health on the sale of its Community Health division to Australian private equity firm, Anchorage Capital Partners, for $50 million
  • Advised the shareholders of the Steelmasters Group on the sale of the group to ASX-listed Coventry Group for $45 million
