Emma has considerable experience in corporate and commercial transactions, particularly in advising on mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures.
Emma specialises in advising on acquisitions, divestments, takeovers, joint ventures and shareholding arrangements. She also advises listed and unlisted companies on general corporate and securities law matters, including corporate reorganisations, private capital raisings, public securities offers and employee share schemes.
Before joining Harmos Horton Lusk, Emma worked at top-tier New Zealand and international firms, including as a senior associate at Allen & Overy in London where she advised on several high profile cross-border transactions

- Advised NYSE-listed Vontier Corporation on its acquisition of New Zealand based technology company Invenco Group
- Advised the founding family members of NPD, a leading New Zealand fuel distributor and retailer, on the management buyout of their majority shareholding in NPD
- Advised The Lines Company on the sale of Influx Energy Data to Intellihub
